Album Notes

Spiff began writing rap lyrics at the age of twelve. Seven years and about five or six musical genre influences later, he began releasing his newest creations. It was not until his third CD, "United We Stand," that he introduced his music to the world via CD Baby, I-tunes, Myspace, Soundclick and the like. All music and lyrics are written and composed by Spiff excluding a few select tracks composed by Spiff's rapping partner Krisis. Spiff and Krisis have been classified as alternative hip-hop, punk rap, and poetry to a beat. Spiff's first official release, entitled "United We Stand," is a collection of his best punk/rap fusion; equipped with furious vocals spewing political and social commentary on top of melodic beats that do not stop to take a breather. Spiff's latest release, entitled "At Least You're Not Dead," outlines a story told through the eyes of thirteen very interesting characters. Each character is based on someone Spiff has come into contact with. The album is tied together at the end with the only two retrospective tacks on the album. Currently, Spiff is working on another themed CD about the ongoing battle each individual has with cynicism and another album soon to be the world's first rap opera.
