Songs from the Ancient Age was originally released in 2003, after KP Thomas had moved from Newark, Delaware to Los Angeles, dragging a couple members from his then-ten-year-old band, Spindrift. This re-release features new mixes, and new versions of Beauty, Diamonds, and Adavan/Diazapan. It replaces Walking Home Alone with Crucify.

Mixed Bag

This album is full of highs and lows. Lets be honest there are some dodgy choices with regards to track order and "want me", whilst very good, sounds out of place on this album. Also when the tracks are bad they really are bad. Having said that these things are easily countered by tracks such as the truly majestic "beauty" and "red reflection" which come's from the same mould as the brilliant first album. after the legend of gods gun I was a little disappointed with this album, But I would still buy it again.

I was disappointed....? I read all the reviews of the Legend of God's Gun CD and was looking forward to this. It just feels like a lot is missing.
