Spiral Rhythm is a group of friends that have been singing together for almost ten years. They began singing at bonfires, gatherings, and festivals. Slowly, they developed their unique sound complete with deep, multi-textured chants and explosive drums.
Spiral Rhythm has gone through many changes, but their goal has always been the same-to raise the spirit through voice and song. The group features Ric Neyer, Kerri Upton, Kiki Williamson, Jon Skoglund, (four from the original group first named 'Trybalaka'), Madison Cansler, Laurel Eris, Kathy Hardman, PJ Seale, andMark Witters. All sing and play percussion. Kiki and PJ write the vast majority
of the group's uplifting songs.
Spirit music, indeed!

Spiral Rhythm has released six CD's- 'I Am', 'Live @Turning Of the Year 2002', 'Roll Of Thunder','Live at PSG 2004', and 'Drums Circle', and now 'Live '05'. Along with appearing at Musiphysical Productions happenings, they have been featured performers of PSG at Wisteria 2003 and 2004, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Jacksonville, Greenville-Spartanburg Pagan Pride Days, festivals and gatherings throughout the Southeast, and beyond. Their inspiring music has been featured on WitchVox, Fellowship Of The Earth, Circle Of Souls, Goddess Internet Radio,
and many other outlets across the U.S. and Canada.

I LOVE this CD!! "I am the Goddess" is the BEST Chant ever, this is the second CD I have from Spiral Rhythm and I am going to get the rest of them. I uploaded it to my computer at work and listen to it while working, it makes a difference in my energy levels during the day and my attitude. I also use it during Rituals, a GREAT way to build energy!

This CD Roll of Thunder is wonderful!! My sister and I use it in our rituals, the lyrics and the beats are perfect for energy work and anytime we want to just dance and leap in joy. I recommend this to anyone who appreciates the beauty of the human voice and rhythm.

    I'm not usually a fan of live recordings, but this being my favorite band of all time, I took a chance... and boy was I glad I did! From the soulful to the silly, all are well written, honoring the Goddess and all that is Pagan. Great music for ceremony, for road trips, for daily study and meditation. Good job!

    I was in the audience at PSG 05...Spiral Rhythm was causeing havoc! They were forceing us to shake our booties and raise power to their music and spirit. It's not the prettiest sound..but it's the most affecting to the Pagan heart and soul that I have heard. After 7 months of missing PSG and longing for the sound of the drums and the feeling of the Pagan world...I got the CD, Live 05...and it transported me to that grassy area in front of the band stand..and dancing, chanting and raising glory to the "powers that be" to the drums and voices of Spiral Rhythm. I can not wait to hear what Spiral Rhythm has for us in 06.

    Strong voices lifted in spirit! The magick in the music comes across clear and strong. I was surprised and impressed by the variety of emotions this collecion of songs evoke. As an extra bonus, the "pagan gospel" song is reason enough to get the CD!

    Live recordings generally leave me feeling a little dissappointed, not only did I not get to be at the event, but the sound quality of the recording is usually lacking and I'm left wondering what some of the lyrics were. Happily, this is not the case with Spiral Rythm's latest CD. Sure, I still wish I had been there to see them live, but at least I can hear all the music! Having seen them preform several times, all I had to do was close my eyes and I was at the festival. This is a great group. They have been singing together for so many years now that the harmonies are simply instinctive. Simple and pure, soothing and exciting all at once. New renditions of familar favorites are delightful on this recording. New songs are nice surprises. I'll be playing this CD often!
