“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

Perhaps no better example of Romans 8:28 can be found than in the origination of Spirit of Grace... from diverse musical backgrounds of blues rock, classic 70's rock, country music, classical piano and even big band jazz, Spirit of Grace came together at one place in time... God truly works in mysterious ways.

The CD ‘New Life’ is a collection of 12 songs that draw on all of these influences but leans heavily to the blues rock and classic rock genres. It’s sound features searing lead guitar work, rock and roll piano, and soulful vocals. All of the songs are original and were written by bassist Kurt Berner. The lyrics are anchored in the Bible and reach out to the Body of Christ with a message that all need to hear. ‘New Life’ is the ‘real deal’- real rock and roll with a real purpose.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold all things are become new”. 2nd Corinthians 5:17. ‘New Life’ represents a new beginning for Spirit of Grace and for our mission of spreading the Gospel through the words and music that we share with you. We indeed “have new words that we will say, that tell the greatest truth”.
