The group members are Morris Hyche from Niagara Falls, NY. Grady Mackey from Birmingham, Alabama, Robert Allen from Racine, Wisconsin and John Colar from New Orleans, Louisiana.. Although the members hail from different parts of the country and have had varied musical experiences through their individual careers, when they met at First AME Church in Los Angeles, it was Musical Magic. All of the group members plus their producer, Phred Mosbey are members of the World Renowned Brookinaires Gospel Choir, under the direction of Tony McGill and Tim Peterson. Also, during the time the fellows met, the church was Pastored by the legendary Rev. Cecil L. Murray. Rev. Murray is the groups’ spiritual advisor and also makes a guest appearance on the CD. He brings us the Storm Watch. It’s kind of like a weather report for your soul. The group performed live, this past Easter at First AME, now under the leadership of Pastor John Hunter, before an audience of thousands and received critical acclaim for their performance and the CD. Now they are appearing weekly at local venues in the Southern California area in support of their new CD. There is a nationwide promotional tour in the works and to make sure the Spiritual Hi-Tones touch down in your town, make sure you send an email request. Yes it's that easy! Although the Spiritual Hi-Tones are the new group on the block, their production team which consists of Phred Mosbey, Johnnie Weaver, A-Tone and Chuck Boom are seasoned veterans and their skills have aided and abetted the careers of Patti Labelle, New Edition, Gerald Levert, TLC, Warren G, Chuckii Booker, Earth Wind and Fire, Baby Face, After 7, Boys II Men, Vanessa Williams, Diana Ross and the list could go on and on…. In short the Spiritual Hi-Tones have all of the ingredients for success. All members are lead vocalists All members contributed to the CD as writers. They have a sound that is new but at the same time familiar and they live the songs they sing.
