Excellent and ecclectic

Melissa Kaplan is a truly gifted and highly inventive musician, combining aspects of pop and electronica with East and South Asian styling. Her more recent releases, as Universal Hall Pass, continue in her fine tradition. As a side note, many are not aware that the entirety of Splashdown's repetoire can be legally downloaded online without charge. If you enjoyed these tracks, look for their unreleased LP "Blueshift."

sweet sweet ear candy!

Melissa Kaplan, the BEST in female vocals sounds better than ever on this remastered version of Halfworld with the 2 added tracks. 50% is probably my all time favorite Splashdown song and it sounds so much better than I'd ever heard it. Big win for Splashdown fans and highly recommended for female vocals fans from all walks! Now if we can just get them to release Blueshift and re-release Redshift all would be right in the world!

Ironspy was slow head-bouncing. Sugar High felt pop. Halfworld had me making moves like I was dancing a rumba. Over the Wall had a lounge-lizard feel.
