"'Pull me in' is the second album from Scottish based band Splendid. The first four tracks are breathtaking, and the tunes stick to your mind even before the songs are over. "The Godfather part III"'s crescendo and "The Only One"'s catchy chorus are maybe the highlights of an album that confirms Alan Windram's amazing talent as a radio friendly songwriter." - (Oct 99 Rainsound online review)
If you love well crafted guitar pop with catchy hooks and melodies from heaven then 'Pull me in' is the album you have been waiting for.
"...the band bring to singer Alan Windram's songs some amazing lead guitar work and harmonies that can reach almost Mamas And Papas proportions." - (Aug 99 The Scotsman)

Fantastic second album from Edinburgh's Splendid!
author: Paul
Quite why this band are not famous is beyond me, Splendid have immense talent both live, and here, on their second album. Pull Me In sticks out from the crowded, heavily marketed, manufactured world of todays music because unlike many other records out there all the songs are actually good! From the glorious opening track 'The Godfather Part III' through the melancholic 'Until the Rain Comes Down' to the anthemic 'How to Fly' each song is a celebration of raw musical talent. Get a copy, turn out the lights, sit back and have a truly Splendid experience!

Not bad at all
author: Sandy
A good performance from the guys. I still prefer the first album though. Some cool solos and groovy riffs. I think Splendid will go far. I like the interesting boy on the front cover, nice van. Solid album, well worth the money.
