Split 3 Ways

Like Mark R. I too remember Brady and Norris as the Hot Damn Brothers. I was a Doorman and Bartender at Gatsbys in '78 - '79. My autographed album came back to life without the pops and crackles when I played the CD. The music is timeless and the production flawless thanks to "Uncle Billy". The talent of course, awesome. The memories priceless. I tried for over 2 years to book these guys into Nashville North in Bensenville but we could never find an opening or agree on "paying for rooms". Last saw Brady playing in C'Dale with whom I believe was his sister Holly, I believe he said her name was, sometime in the late 80's I think. I've checked out Norris' website. Doesn't make me feel so bad being fat and gray at 50 looking at him and remembering that beanpole with the lightning fingers! This album is nothing less than perfect. Always was.

Used ti listen to Splitwater at several differnet places in mostly Paducah, loved hearing them play, I moved off to Wyoming and they released the album a few weeks later, good friend of mine sent me one, he knew the wife and I would both really think it was cool. I had just played that album for a friend of mine in Wyoming a couple weeks ago, we had been talking about really good local bands we had heard. Decided just for the heck of it to do a search for Splitwater, and to my suprise, found the site and CD, some days just go really well. Really sorry to here about Rusty, hadn't heard about that, makes me really appreciate the sundown possum.
