Album Notes

Hailed as one of “the best of the best in St. Louis” by the gateway city’s biggest rock station, this foursome of musicians have found a way to transcend stylistic clichés and still maintain a pop aesthetic, drawing comparisons to Smashing Pumpkins, U2, Radiohead, Filter and My Bloody Valentine. They strive to the level of bands that could delve into varied musical soundscapes while always retaining their unique sound, in a time when albums were works of art and not just a collection of numbered tracks.

Critics are surprised to realize that Spring Clock Wonder’s “modern rock… with dashes of British art-pop and psychedelia” sprouted from the heartland of America.

Ian Baird is the spirit of Spring Clock Wonder. He will never give up on creating what defines him. A somewhat traditionalist and complete musician whose voice is hard to ignore if you just let it in. A mix of old and new brought together with the insight to make something truly organic.

All songs are written, produced and mostly recorded by Ian. An accomplished drummer, bassist, guitarist, vocalist, and noisemaker.
