Album Notes

Singer/songwriter Spring has enjoyed writing, recording and sharing the stage with a diverse mix of musicians including; legendary Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, Louden Wainright III, Dave Sharp (the Alarm) and Jeffrey Gaines.

Spring lives in the NYC area where she has produced her CDs. She plays guitar and piano, has garnered radio airplay, national press, toured the country and sold thousands of CDs as an indie artist. She makes regular trips to Nashville for performing, co-writing and songwriting workshops.

The Spring Thing has a folky feel, with some soft pop production. Spring's vocals have a soothing, dreamy quality and her song topics range from love and loss to world issues with a subtle inspirational, spiritual quality. "The Earth & Sky" speaks to environmental concerns... "Helpess" sings about the frustration of a loved one's addiction..."Familiar" is about the relationship that brings you to your knees even though you know better! Spring brings a quirky humor to even heartbreak. You may find yourself laughing at your own vulnerability. "The Whole Point" sings about living your life one day at a time and the acclaimed "Trapped" is about breaking out of the mold, to live YOUR life true to your vision.

Spring's voice has been compared to some of her influences; Sarah McLachlan, Olivia Newton-John and Karen Carpenter but to truly appreciate her, you have to see her perform live.
