Sputnik Monroe is four guys with the ability to make noises that people call...."music". They met in 2003 as non-conservatives...a non-new movement which is continually getting surpressed. They united minds and created "WAKE THE SLEEPING GIANT!" After sacrificing their tv sets....they bonded over late nights of defacing US propaganda. "This is not a movement....nor a band....just a moment in time."

the album is strange and great

Okay... this type of band doesn't come around a lot, well in my terms.  But this band has something that really mixes well with my tastes.  The guitar is excellent, so is the drumming and bass.  I love the electronic noises they use, also.  The singer reminds me of a mix between Supertramp and At The Drive-In.

A great album

After I watched their performence on Attack of the Show I went online and ordered their album.  One of the best things I can say about Wake the Sleeping Giant is I can play the entire thing without skipping tracks.  Start to finish this is one of the best cds I've heard in months.
