A vocal treat; tight vocal arrangements backed up by solid 'new wave' guitars and drums... "There are few albums that I can say I like every single track on, this is definitely one of them." (Garry Lee - The Overflow Radio Show)

REVIEWS

I like this cd
author: kenneth johnston
This remarkable collection of songs has, along with “Every Second Counts,” been my favorite listening experience of late. Great lyrics, wonderful singing by Sputnik Weazel, and serpentine-ethereal backing vocals create quite a web of sound here. There are touches of surf music and a tip of the hat here and there to the great English psychedelic bands (most obviously the psychedelic explorations by the Beatles and the Small Faces) . My favorite track at the moment is the starship ionic pulse overdrive rave-up (Love Shines) that has echoes of early Hawkwind and Gong. I’m already looking forward to the next CD.

Brilliant! Edgy music with a message.

What a refreshing album. Instantly enjoyable music and wonderful, thoughtful lyrics. Defining it as hippy punk is spot on. The music is edgy with touches of hauntingly beautiful harmonies (think Pink Floyd). The lyrics are just what we need in a jaded world. I wish that they would play this stuff on Top of the Pops!

After New American Century we thought it couldn't get any better. Well, it has! This is Sputnik's greatest album to date, mature and refined, yet raw and youthful. he is surely the greatest undiscovered talent of our time.
