Album Notes

Seattle's Rocket magazine calls the release "One of the best discs to hit Seattle shelves this year (2000). Wake Up Sleepyhead puts a desolate, haunting voice in front of a breathtaking sonic landscape." Spyglass is a Seattle band fronted by Barbara Trentalange. When i first listened to SLEEPYHEAD i instantely knew that this could be a cd i want to listen from beginning to end. i DID! i did it several times...this wonderful voice..these strong guitars and real sharp drums..and a great organsound on the top of it. it´s a classical rock album though barbara is far away from being a ROCK singer , but maybe this combination of a ROCKband and a NONrock mermaid singer is the secret of this incredible sound...listen to the title track and you´re LOST!!!
