Album Notes

From the contemporary electronic master, Wolfram “Der” Spyra, comes over 2 ½ hours of live performance on the new double album “High Phidelity”. This enigmatic composer has been captured live on his first official concert in USA, at The Gatherings in Philadelphia on March 24, 2007. The concert was performed to a record crowd and then followed by a live concert on radio on Stars End. Also, a live track from Hampshire Jam, UK 2005 and E-Day, Netherlands 2006 has been included to round out this tasty selection of tracks that cover a spectrum of sounds that only Spyra would dare to realize. A few new tracks have been recorded live including “Last Train to Philadelphia” which should please Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze fans alike. This 2CD digipak release is limited to 1000 copies.

Spyra is also known for his collaborations with Pete Namlook on the FAX label under the name Virtual Vices and has improvised with the Ricochet Gathering group in Mojave, California; Jelenia Gora, Poland; and Tuscany Italy.
