An underground favorite. The instrumental cd that sounds like an 1988 break beat tape that even DJ Premier and 9th Wonder had to hear. Playing the MPC2000 live, Superstar Quamallah chops rare jazz and soul records receiving high praise from hiphop purist.

This is one of the best Hip Hop albums for 2007 and easily my favorite instrumental albums of alltime along with "donuts" by J-Dilla! Quamallah is one the best for real.

"word on the street"
author: Primo
I heard about this beat cd through some emcees and a few were comparing it to donuts. It took me a while to find it cause dude don't mess with stores (and i don't blame him). After one listen, i was inspired and glad to hear true creativity. Quamallah reminds me of the real cats from back in the day and this album is unique and straight dope! I'm definitely gonna spread the word.
