In To Jazz
Bobby, I'm proud to say I knew you when, from our old "upholstered sewer" playing days. You've really arrived at the jazz pinnacle with this album. Really refreshing, truly top quality, voice & backing. Great new material and outstanding interpretations of standards.
Vocals (bebop) and soloists really cooked. The tightest rhythm section I've heard in a long time.
5 stars don't do it justice!

Wow .... Great production, Bobby ! Forgot you sang so well. It was great fun when you played bass in the 90's so I could play some guitar. Keep up the cool sounds !

Griggs has lived and it comes out in his music. His phrasing, his timing and his depth portray an artist who has "been there." His originals, Young Man on the Way Up and One of the Good Guys really ring true.

Thanks, RFG

In to Jazz
Sir Robert writes and sings with a unique style. Following him in the 50s to the 70s we heard him writing and singing Country and Folk. His life long love of jazz comes to the forefront in this new album. He has always been a great performer and stylist. With some years on him the "timber" and resonance come truly from the heart. We are permanent fans. Ever, Swifty

Bob,

Your tones have mellowed with the understanding that comes with experience. You know the meaning behind the words and it comes out. Great job, great phrasing...shades of Frank.

Piggy backing onto my brother's ride: Bobby, you have never sounded better. You still have the range of Kentucky Waltz, but with the experience to convince us all of the new day. We are proud of you, man. Swifty
