Album Notes

A group of New Jersey-based entertainment professionals and musicians have joined together to create an album that showcases some of the most talented blues-oriented bands that the Garden State has to offer. The Silk City Recording Company, in conjunction with Loopy Loon Productions, Inc., has recorded seven of the most popular and talented artists that frequent the historic Great Notch Inn in West Paterson, NJ to create a live album entitled Standing Room Only: Songs From the Last Roadhouse.

The diverse group of featured performers is comprised of several well-established acts, such as The Son Lewis Blues Band, The Crescent City Maulers, and Roadside Louie & the Dusters, as well as such up-and-coming artists as Sharp Edge and The RaunchTones. The CD contains over one hour of music and encompasses many different facets of the blues genre including swing/jump blues, delta blues, Chicago blues, rock 'n roll, and even a touch of country.
