Everyone should have this CD!
author: RhondaI think everyone should have this CD! If you're reading this and you don't have it, I really recommed that you order it. You will be blessed. It is such a mixture of rich sounds from so many instruments. It is awesome. I know I can play it while I'm cleaning house or driving in my car... it's just something that can get you through... I've experienced bouts of depression at times and this cd when I put it on can help lift me out of that place to an entirely peaceful place.... It's worth buying, you'll play it--- a lot.
taking you on a journey
author: PrizzoThis is an album that would take you far away from yourself. Accoustic guitar, chello, percussion, mandolin and hammered dulcimer makes a great vacation for your ears. And Stephen Roach's poetry is awsome. You can actually buy his books on his website. Check it out.
Just Lovely!
author: Lee BurtonThis is a beautiful album with lovely instrumentation. Every piece is strong.
instrumental music that wanders far afield from typical "alternative" ideal
author: Jon WorleySongs of Water Songs of Water (self-released) "This [band] plays instrumental music that wanders far afield from the typical "alternative" ideal of such fare. As the liner notes say, "welcome the quiet invitation." Not many rock bands can use hammered dulcimer as a featured instrument and still keep their focus tight. [This band does] that and more, borrowing from both American roots and world beat influences to create a truly original sound." written by Jon Worley http://www.aidabet.com
