It features Steve Schmidt on the Hammond B-3 organ accompanied by Chicago tenor saxophonist Scott Burns and former George Benson drummer Art Gore. Half of the CD showcases the wonderfully rich singing of Bill Caffie who replaced Joe Williams in the Count Basie Orchestra.
Also playing on the recording is Chicago guitarist Andy Brown.Cincinnati guitarist Brian Lovely and bassist Don Aren play on one cut each.
