One of Houston's best kept secrets is now revealed! Gospel music newcomer Stacie Gaynor is a gifted, motivational-singer and songwriter. This unique artist is known and appreciated for her spiritual depth - with a voice that soars to the almighty. Her debut CD "My Destiny" clearly conveys her heart's cry.

Struggling with self-esteem issues since childhood, her life changed when she realized God had a special and unique plan just for her. Before that discovery, "It was painful to be me", Stacie reflects. She now has a desire is to minister encouragement and healing that brings others to the awareness that they are the storehouses of God's greatest gifts, and to inspire them to release those gifts and become vessels of purpose.

Stacie's musical abilities were evident early in childhood. Accepting Christ as a child, her musical roots are in the church, though she has journeyed musically through Gospel, R&B and Pop. "Mom said I hummed constantly before I could walk or talk", Stacie reflects. As teenagers, her brother Theodore who played the drums convinced their parents to let Stacie join him in performing in local bands and concerts, vowing to look after his younger sister. Later in life she and her sister Tamara co-hosted a Christian talk show on Houston's KLTJ, Channel 22 with Stacie performing special music.

The long anticipated debut CD, "My Destiny" is an extraordinary 11 track compilation of the artist's original material birthed out of her personal experiences, hearing from within her spirit, and her dreams. Most notable is that her genuine sincerity about the love of Christ shines through. You undoubtedly sense a higher calling to a place in God reserved exclusively for you.

This diverse and innovative artist transitions effortlessly between musical genres while keeping the message the same. In 1998, she was privileged to write a song featured during the international ceremonies of the Habitat For Humanity Jimmy Carter Work Project, "One Heart, One Hand, One House At A Time".

In addition to her musical interests, Stacie earned a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and has more than 15 years experience with a nationally known corporation. Through her community efforts she has met two former U.S. Presidents and was recently named and honored as a YMCA Minority Achiever.

For a mix of music, message, and flavor, "My Destiny" has all the right ingredients. This is compelling songwriting -a musical feast.
