What people are saying about Stacie Rose...

Stacie Rose is an impressive singer/songwriter. Her self-released debut album This is Mine is a delight. ...She has an engaging timbre to her voice. As a writer her lyrics are literate and she has a keen sense of melody and drama... Vocally she is not a million miles from Sheryl Crow An impressive debut album from a promising artist.
-Relix Magazine

Rose is definitely a performer on the rise...Reminiscent of Sheryl Crow, she's hip, fun and charismatic...it seems like a matter of time before Rose becomes a local household name.
-Hudson Current

This is Mine, a collection of finely crafted folk-pop songs. She has a talent for catchy tunes... It's her lyrics that set her songs apart from the crowd.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Stacie Rose becomes a radio darling very soon.
-Rambles.net a cultural arts magazine

Tasteful strings work behind Stacie Rose's folk guitar and pop voice on "Your Girl", a decades-later answer to The Beatles' "I Wanna Be Your Man". The production is superlative, something different track to track. It's quite a find.
-Music Business Monthly

Leaning toward the Suzanne Vega folkie side of Roseanne Cash country or vice versa, featuring heartfelt observations about hallucinogenic poetry and purple mountains.
-The Village Voice

When you think Stacie Rose, think Lisa Loeb gets a tutorial from Sheryl Crow and Sarah McLachlan. Stacie is able to merge Lisa's delicate voice and strumming with Sheryl's tempo and Sarah's emotion."
-Girlmedia WebZine

In addition to performing, Rose is a gifted songwriter.
Once you've heard her, you may become a follower, too.
-Recreation News

The best music in the world takes us to places inside of ourselves. It's a difficult road to travel but singer-songwriter Stacie Rose expertly navigates the terrain.
But the real magic here is in Rose's dreamy voice and suggestive lyrics. "We are almost lifelike," she sings as if she has to remind herself. It's a gorgeous track that pulls you in quietly.

Stacie's music can be described as catchy folk pop with shades of rock. Her music ranges from melodic to sultry. This is Mine is an eleven-track collection expertly produced by Robert L. Smith who has worked with Rickie Lee Jones, Bowie and others. Mr. Smith is able to bring out the dynamic range and moods of Stacie's music. She is joined by top-notch musicians who add a fullness and richness to songs whose main focus is the poetic vocals. 'Checkin' Out' is the opening track featuring catchy hooks and versatile vocals. 'Your Girl' showcases strong singing accented with subtle instrumentation. 'We Got Love' is a compelling tribute to the victims of 9-11 sung with passion and exploring musical tones of strength and vulnerability.
