Staci Gray was born in Virginia and moved to Oklahoma at an early age, where her mother noticed her musical gift.
She made her professional debut at the age of 15 at a local summer stock theatre company called Lyric Theatre and over the next three summers was in eight shows!
In 1998 she received a BA in Music Theatre from the University of Central Oklahoma. Then it was on to Austin, Texas and a job at BookPeople, the coolest bookstore ever! In 1999 she started reading at the weekly storytimes there and found out that performing for children was a great experience.
In 2001 she met the amazing Joe McDermott and started singing backup for him singing on his award winning albums "Great Big World" and "Everywhere You Go."
She performs at weekly shows all over Austin and at pre-schools and elementary schools all over Texas and Oklahoma.
"The Big Bubble Be Bop" was her debut album in 2006 and her next highly anticipated album "The Crocodile Dance" is due December 2008.

I work for a babysitting service and I bring this cd along and the kids just love it! The younger kids sign "More" to me when the song is over! I can't wait untill Dec. 2008 for her next CD.
