Welcome to Great Golf Hits, Volume 1, created by PGA Golf Professional Stan Buzas. Quite possibly the best golf parody lyrics ever written.

Inspired by Peter Jacobson as Jake Trout & The Flounders, "Great Golf Hits" takes golf parody songs to a new level, raising the bar to create golf parody songs that are "seriously golf" and "seriously fun"! "Golf Story Songs" born out of 41 years of playing, working and living golf. Great Golf Hits is sure to touch your golfing funny bone and your golfing heart.

ANY PUTT IS MISSABLE...This song is about a golfer who is a total basket case on the greens. He gets so worked up over putting that he hyperventilates, his hands shake, and he gets that quizzy feeling in the pit of his stomach.

SOME GUYS MAKE ALL THE PUTTS...This song is about a kid watching the tour pros on TV and wanting to be a good player just like them. The chorus "some guys make all the putts" represents how the kid sees the pros; as perfect.

WHAT'S CLUBS GOT TO DO WITH IT...This golfer is always getting the newest clubs that come out hoping to get a better game and better scores. The female voice in the chorus is his conscience basicly telling him that it doesn't matter what clubs he uses, it's his swing that's the problem and he should get golf lessons.

ANOTHER PUTT'S IN THE CUP...Tiger Woods coming on the PGA Tour as a rookie and announcing: "Here I am, I'm the best, I'm the one you've got to try to beat".

I'M KINDA LAZY...This song is being sung by a tour pro ( Carlos Franco? ) who doesn't practice much but at night while asleep he has vivid dreams that he's practicing. The idea for this song came from a comedy segment The Golf Channel did about Carlos not doing all the practicing and warming up before he tees up in a tournament, like the other tour pros do.

SAVE THIS ROUND...when you struggle from tee to green you can still save your par and "Save Your Round" and turn in a good score if you have a good short game.

HIT ME ON THE SWEET SPOT... This song is sung by Tiger Woods "golf ball", explaining the experience of being smacked around the course by Tiger.

I'M OUT OF BOUNDS...This poor golfer hits his tee shot "Out of Bounds" a lot. Through out the song he tries to figure out why.

I'LL BE COUNTING TOO...This song is about the last two competitors in a Match Play Tournament. As they start the Championship Match one player tells the other; don't try any funny stuff because I'm going to be watching you like a hawk and I'll be sticking to you like glue...I'm going to count every stroke that you take.

JUST CUT THE GRASS...This song is about Tiger Woods from a baby, to a kid learning the game, to college, to the PGA Tour.

This CD made me the star at my country club\'s Women\'s Closing Banquet!  When everyone watching the slideshow finally realized the songs weren\'t the \"hits\" they thought they were, the talking stopped so they could hear the words.  I am a true genius for finding you, and CD Baby is a true genius for selling this album.  Kudos the master, Stan Buzas!  

By the way...the most outstanding service from a website retailer ever!  Keep up the great work!

I laughed till I cried.  We had our company's regional meeting which included a golf tournament. With my camera I can take 10-20+ pictures in a row of their golf swings--some of their swings are pretty funny and then we put the entire  golf tournament to this music and had the finale slide show at the awards banquet.  It was a hit! I highly recommend it and yes, the customer service and thank you note are outstanding!

I've heard some parodies but they don't seem to have the lyrics right with the music.  THIS ONE DOES!  You know the tunes, you must learn the words and you remember them better than the original ones!  Also must say that I loved the CD Baby Customer Service.  An all round 5 Star effort by Stan and CD Baby.
