Standard Candle have matured since their first independent offering...touring for two years will do that for a band. The guys are really proud of their new EP which is meant to showcase the direction the band is heading towards when they go back in the studio in a couple of months to do a brand new full length album. The EP features three songs that show the band's diversity...from the rocking edgier "Outside Looking In" to the laid back and emotional (yet extrordinarily catchy) "Do You Remember?" the band showcases their talent for writing substantial songs without sacrificing great melodies. The EP ends with the introspective and brooding "Over Me" which completes the listener's emotional journey through the sonic landscape that is Standard Candle.
