Stanley Brinks is the former member of the French/Swedish anti-folk trio Herman Dune. In follow up to his 2008 debut album ‘Dank U’, Stan re-delivers his usual genius-like lyrics and melodic prowess with this new single ‘End of the World’.
Taken from his forthcoming album ‘Stanley Brinks and The Wave Pictures’, out in January 2010 on Ciao Ketchup Recordings, ‘End of the World’ is everything a song should be, from the perfect band feel created with his friends from The Wave Pictures (Moshi Moshi), via the philosophical yet simple lyrics and memorable melodies, to the truly mind-blowing guitar solos delivered by Dave Tattersall.
When he’s not in his Berlin retreat composing and recording, Stan plays throughout the world in his trademark Hawaiian shirts and continues to gain growing respect from those that get the chance to catch his shows.
