"Steel Drum Sounds of the Caribbean," Stanley E. Dahl's debut CD, features the energetic yet soothing sounds of the steel drum that appeals to both children and adults. This CD showcases the steel drum's versatility of musical styles with Calypso, Soca, Latin, Jazz and Rock. Songs included are: La Samba, Under The Sea, Desperado, Bare Necessities, Late In The Evening, Jamaican Farewell, Day-O, Cy's Soca, Margaritaville, Winnie-the-Pooh, Just The Way You Are, and Cantina Band (from "Star Wars").

Stanley E. Dahl is Assistant Professor of Percussion at Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he is director of the Flying Pans Steel Band. He performs steel pans/vocals with the Caribbean-Latin-Funk band Jumbies and is also a member of the Iowa Arts Council’s Arts in Education, offering steel pan workshops/residencies in schools and communities.

Stan's solo performances of Calypso, Soca, Latin, Jazz, Reggae, Funk, and Rock is the perfect addition for conventions, conferences, festivals, night clubs and island parties.
