Stanley Floyd is a singer/songwriter and a native of the Ozark Mountain area in Northwest Arkansas.
Everyone who knows Stanley, knows that God comes first in his life, then his wife, Cindy, and all of his family and friends, and then of course, the Ozark Mountain area where he was raised. From this inspiration and the many experiences of his life, Stanley writes and sings.
Many of these songs have a specific story behind them such as his title song from the album "Reaching Out To You", which he was inspired to write for his wife as she lay sick. It looked as if she would not recover at the time, but God answered prayer.
The song, "When Mother Leaves Her Boy", from his album "From These Hills", was written about his own Mother and Stanley says sadly that all the words are true, but he will meet her again in Heaven for she was a wonderful Christian woman.
Stanley's first two albums, "From These Hills" and his gospel album "Reaching Out To You" are being released at the same time.
Stanley hopes that all will enjoy his songs and feel the same inspiration he felt as he wrote them.
