The Mercury Lounge NYC
author: Aslak Gylder
Enjoyed this one immensely, but then the quality of all of SR's products is equallygood. I keep wondering why so few people pay attention to this artist. Or maybe I live too far away from what's happening?(Norway). Always enjoy live recordings with that little extra. THis is one of those wonderful concerts events you wish you participated in.

Great, as usual
author: Thierry
One more great show, certainly my favorite one because of its big sound, of its (excellent) "16-tonizied" version of "The big heat", its "bluesy" "Lonely Town". One more time, you feel like being in the audience.
In fact, all the live SR's albums are essential, so, if you miss this one, you aren't really a fan... The more you'll wait, the more you"ll regret it.

Wonderful CD! Great companion to other Live Ridgway CD's!
author: Martyn Capel
This is a great CD! As wonderful as the previous exclusive Ridgway CD's available at CDBaby. A number of the songs on this CD are not heard live on other live CD's he has done. Very enjoyable from a man who seems to be very consistent in the quality of music he puts out, many Black Diamond tracks done live! Highly recomended, nice sound quality. Just buy it, you won't be disapointed.

Stan, You're gonna get me fired!

I agree with everything Martyn says, but where some folks thought Poolside With Gilly didn't let us hear the audience enough, I think this one lets us hear 'em too damn much on a couple of tracks! Shut up and listen to the guy play Lonely Town!
That said, this is another excellent entry in the Ridgway LIVE! series (I've had it for a day and played it four times already-my boss sent me home!), with stunningly different versions of Camouflage, Wild Bill Donovan and Big Heat that even shut the audience up and are worth the cost alone, never mind all those cool, rarely-heard gems from Black Diamond.
Gripes aside, this is a more than worthy addition to the series, and Joe Berardi's Catskills timing is as on the nail as ever...
