All proceeds from the "Rivers of Light - Music for Hope and Healing" MP3 Album will support over 10,000 CDs per year being donated to cancer patients.
Since the year 2000, Stanton Lanier has been composing piano melodies to offer peace, rest, hope and healing to listeners around the world. These pieces from his newest four albums were produced by William Ackerman, Grammy-winning Founder of Windham Hill Records, and also feature Philip Aaberg (orchestration), Eugene Friesen (cello), Jill Haley (English horn), Jeff Oster (flugel horn) and Noah Wilding (angelic vocals).
In 2004 Stanton founded Music to Light the World, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to be a leading source of instrumental music for hope and healing in the lives of cancer and hospital patients through its Get Music Give Hope program. Over 10,000 CDs per year are donated to touch the lives of patients, their families, friends and caregivers.
Stanton keeps a full concert schedule offering a one-of-a-kind piano performance with signature melodies, captivating visuals, inspiring stories, and audience interaction, created to entertain and encourage audiences of all ages.
