Stardancer has listened to and studied electronic music since 1997. Inspired by artist like Bluetech, Zero One, Current and Mars Lasar, his debut album Akashic Traveler is created in a minimalist downtempo style designed to combine urban beats with ethnic and ambient soundscapes, creating a chilled sensual groove that, momentarily, transports the listener to a place some call a Solid Groove..
The Akashic Traveler
Designed to forestall Mondays, the Akashic Traveler is created for that space between the freedom of Friday and the inevitability of next week. Holding on to the throbbing urban beat, yet smoothing out the edges into a palatable after hours, non-demanding kick backed space. The brief intro, River Styx, echoes of strange yet familiar places you know you have been before. Like a door opening, you are invited to step inside your own personal groove and ride the powerful yet gentle rhythms to the peaceful places within you. This is what chilling out is suppose to feel like, no bumps or hairpin turns just the smooth rocking beat that allows you to observe the landscapes of life around you. Ambient sounds roll gently over you, sounds that are mystically strange, yet somewhere you have heard them before. As your groove deepens, the past, the present, and the future meld into a comprehensive singularity. You are the Akashic Traveler………..just chillin!
Stardancer currently lives and creates his music in Hilton Head Island South Carolina.

Most Excellent First Alubum
author: M. Johnson
This album is well conceived and effectively takes the listener on a journey. Although this is Stardancer’s first album I find the composition, assembly, and complexity of the album superb and commensurate with the best that CD Baby has to offer. While I enjoyed the entire album, tracks 6, 8, and 10 are my favorite compositions. I highly recommend this album.
