My 6 and 8 year old boys love this CD!
My older son is taking piano lessons and my little
one likes to pretend he plays guitar and
this CD was just what I needed to further inspire them.  My 6-year old is begging me to get him guitar lessons so he can play some of these songs.
It really is a rare CD, real rock music with lyrics the kids can relate to. They love Air Guitar, Starfish and Cofee, and my oldest especially loves the Wolfman song!  I would definitely recommend it if your kids like rock-n-roll!

My daughter loves this music and asks for it by name when she gets home from daycare, which is hilarious as her vocabulary is pretty small.  She dances, claps her hands and sings along.  I didnt think a child so young could seem like a groupie, but clearly she is a Starfish groupie.

A friend sent me this CD so the next time we went on a road trip I popped it in.  The whole family rocked out to the entire CD with NO forwarding over songs, which is a really rare thing for a kids CD!
I've heard both of my boys singing "Here Comes Trouble" around the house, and they request Starfish as soon as I go to put on music.
I've actually caught myself singing along (and enjoying it a whole lot)when it comes on and my kids aren't around!

OK, I've never written a review online before, but I LOVE this CD!  A friend whose kids are similar in age to mine played some of the tunes for me, and we liked the sound.  Then, by total coincidence, we happened to be at the Children's Museum of Manhattan on the day Starfish was performing a concert!  The music was great, they had a lot of fun energy, and they got the whole crowd into it.  We bought the CD on the spot, and it has become the soundtrack to Summer '08!  The songs are catchy and fun to sing, the kids already know lots of the words, and I have even caught myself humming the tunes to myself on the train!  This is a fun band with good music, and I hope they become more well-known!  Buy it!
