Album Notes

Hi. This is Robert Nobilia, I am one of the writers of the songs on this album "The Original Illusion"

and I'm here to tell you a little about myself, Stark and the music I write.
I DONT KNOW WHAT I'M DOING in regards to songwriting, I am just winging it. I have not been

taught by anyone about what it takes to write a good song. The question is : Can anybody? I would

say that one could teach about technique and style, and maybe point to some shortcuts that would

make life a little easier, but nobody can teach you about yourself.
Creativity is something that I'm learning about continuously. I'm discovering that it applies to my life

in more ways than in simply creating a song or a painting. I believe that we have 100% control over

one thing in our lives and that is our attitude towards it.
"I am and I can" is a track that I have specifically kept simple (lyrically) because that's really all there

is to say in the end. "Goodbye Paranoia" is all about stamping out the negativity that we so easily get

caught up in. "Do Stars get lonely?" is about the yearning to acheive an experiential understanding of

being ONE, and that there is no other. I believe that LOVE comes forth in billions expressions and as

human beings we are fortunate to be able to sense it all so deeply.
Songwriting is simply something that I truly enjoy, it makes me happy, and thanks to my friend

Lindsay Askew the songs on this CD have developed in quite a stylish way. This album is the result

of a 6 year collaboration, of which I am grateful in many ways. Please listen to some of the samples

and let me know what you think.

Regards Rob
