Native to New England, STARR FAITHFULL considers Boston its' home. The outstanding chemistry of Jodee Frawlee, Geoff Kornfeld, and AJ Vallee affords exquisite songwriting with a lush dynamic range.
Recently, the group teamed with producer extraordinaire Anthony J. Resta (Collective Soul, Shawn Mullins, Duran Duran). The sessions yielded state of the art tracks with a distinctly fresh and unique sound. Hear these and more on the band's latest C.D. "Funny Peculiar".
The band has been gaining momentum performing through out the North East. When not headlining their own shows, Starr Faithfull can be seen supporting many nationally recognized acts such as: Days of the New,Quiet Riot, Tribe of Judah, John Cafferty, J. Geils Band, Doug Pinnick of Kings X, SteppenWolf, The Southern Rock All Stars, Mick Tayler,Wishbone Ash, Ambrosia, Debbie Davies, etc.
Starr Faithfull has become a welcomed favorite at many national events through out the region including 'Bike Week' Laconia NH, The White Mountain 'Boogie and Blues' fest in the Berkshires, and 'Zoobiley' in Providence, RI.
The band has also been included on the latest Audix Microphone compilation C.D. along with The Goo Goo dolls, and Victor Wooten.
Currently the band has local radio support on WAAF, WGIR, WHJY, WBHG, and WBCN.
Singer and guitarist Jodee Frawlee is recognized as one of Boston's premier vocal and guitar talents and has been a recipient of the "Boston's Best Guitarist" award. In November 1999, Jodee was hand selected out of 200 contestants to perform live with Steve Vai. Her musical talents have not gone un-noticed in the professional community. Presently, Jodee endorses Line 6 amps, Hamer guitars, and Seymour Duncan pick-ups.
AJ Vallee, the groups' incessant time piece, emanates a constant energy and pulse compounded with a flashy live performance on percussion. Besides being an active member in and behind the Boston music scene, AJ has traveled and performed in numerous venues in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.
Bassist Geoff Kornfeld plays for the song. His previous credentials include the band RUKKUS, as well as various sessions through out Boston. Shortly after in '94, he collaborated with Jodee in live and studio projects, which led to the present entity of Starr Faithfull

author: Forrest C. AdamsThe tunes are energetic and catchy. Jodee Frawlee's voice is 100 percent rock n'roll ambrosia. Her guitar lines are hot yet tasteful with bits of flash. The rhythym section is rock solid (not to be taken for granite...nyuk, nyuk,nyuk). I LOVE THIS CD!!!
