Captain D's Restaurants and Platinum Plus International artists launch music project to benefit autistic children. The Autism Society Of America has endorsed the musical talents of some 20 legendary artists for the benefit of autistic children worldwide. One in every 164 children born in the United States suffers from some form of autism. The numbers have been climbing steadily in the past few years.
Legends Hall Of Fame Producer, Robert Metzgar cooperated with the world's largest honky tonk, Billy Bob's in Dallas Ft. Worth Texas and The Nashville Palace to help raise money for the Autism Society Of America at www.autism-society.org and develop this album project for them.
Twenty artists donated their talent and songs to this great album. The album won "Humanitarian Album Of The Year in 2008" as awarded by ASCAP in New York. Heartbreak Train was awarded Bluegrass Single Of The Year and 7 different number one songs in Billboard's Nielsen survey are on this album by the original artists. All the proceeds from the album are donated through Captain D's restaurants to the Autism Society Of America.
