Album Notes

Starving for Gravity creates a distinct blend of various pieces from the musical spectrum featuring dynamic melodic vocals, undulating emotionally driven guitars, poignant bass lines, and insistent, high-energy drums... the four-piece rock band combines aggressive rock with memorable choruses and pop sensibility.

Starving for Gravity is a four piece active rock band that originated in the Grand Forks, ND area. They have been playing together, with the current lineup for two years.

Their self-titled first album was recorded during the winter of 2005/2006 with engineer/producer Jason Gordon at Studio 11, payed for by many long weekends playing local bars and clubs. In the summer of 2006 they went on their first tour ( a short two weeks) throughout the midwest and western U.S.

In 2007, they moved out to California signed under 79Volts management. Through their managers Josh Weesner and Alex Kravetsky, they were hooked up with producer legend John Ryan (Badfinger, Styx, Santana), recording their newest album "Urgency".

If only the bigger bands could put together a CD with this much quality! I listen to this CD constantly - it is one of the few albums out there where every track is just as good as the next - no skip button required.
