Album Notes

State of Nowhere was an amazing band that existed long enough to release one CD, "State of Nowhere" in 1997. That album was comprised of a 7-song demo recorded at Dare Studios in 1996, and several tracks recorded at Five Towns College over the next year. SON played all over Long Island, NY, including the famed Roxy Music Hall in Huntington, NY, and the Pyramid Club in NYC. The band broke up in 1998 when Mike Grosshandler moved to Albany, Mike Mandato went to college, Jody Lupo joined the Army, and Tom Sposato flipped out. (He's ok now.)

Mike Grosshandler is now guitarist/singer for the Albany, NY-based rock band The Velmas (www.thevelmas.com). He has also released a couple solo acoustic CDs. (www.mikegrosshandler.com) Mike Mandato is currently the guitarist for 7 Caged Tigers, a rock band from Long Island, NY. Tom continues to make music as part of Nature of Elements (www.natureofelements.com). Jody rocks out now and then while not on active duty...
