Album Notes

Static Halo is from San Diego, CA. We began as a 5 piece group in 1997. Within one year we recorded our debut album, an ambitious double CD with a wide range of songs and styles entitled "All Around The World".

During the recording of All Around The World, two of the original members (Andy White and Nic White) left San Diego to pursue life in other cities. Both leaving town just days after finishing their tracks for the record. Eventually, Static Halo core members (Mike Kamoo, Dylan Martinez, and Todd Woolsey) brought in new bass player Dave Fraire and released our 2 CD set in the Fall of 1998. Since then we've played extensively throughout San Diego and did a brief west coast tour in 1999.

We've completed numerous recordings that have recently been compiled for our follow up CD tentatively titled "Postcards From Dreamtown". We have also been appearing on compilations, most recently a Replacements tribute CD called "Left Of The Dial" on Facedown Records and the "Spellbound" compilation on Snap Records in Spain.
