DON GALLARDO & THE STATION was a Rock band from San Francisco. Don Gallardo formed the band in November of 2001. THE STATION's sound is very original. You cannot say they sound like anyone else but you can say that you can feel influences in their music (i.e. Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, The Cult, AC/DC, Nirvana). This album is soaked with driving catchy guitar riffs and lyrical melodies. They draw us in with the familiar vibe of classic rock and keep us wanting more with a sound that is intriguingly new.
The CD was Produced by Davy Vain.
Don Gallardo, singer/songwriter for the band now resides in Nashville, TN and recently had a song placed in a the Universal Pictures movie "Jolene" which will be in theaters in 2009. His new album "Waiting For Someday To Come Soon" can be digitally downloaded from his website: www.myspace.com/dongallardo

So many bands want to be the next best thing, these guys ARE and aren't trying to be. It's just a natural flow of creative genius. This is the first REAL rock and roll band to hit the scene in years and I think the public is starving for them! Good luck station

Fun to watch, great to listen too.

I've seen them play a few times and am stoaked that I can listen to them at home now. I like the lyrics, and find it very easy to listen too no matter what mood I am in!

THE STATION is a band with much dedication to their music. It is always great to see a group that is willing to do anything to get their music heard and that doesnt go unnoticed. Not just any Rock band can get away with some acoustic guitar in the mix. This album shows their diversity.
