roots rock alive and well
author: matthew
I stumbled across Steel Rodeo's 'Treats' cd several years ago and have been a fan ever since. This is the first time I've been able to find anything else by Eddie and the band. This is no frills rock and roll, pure and simple - guitars, drums, bass and first rate keys to round it out. No complications, just great playing and great vocals from Seville. Keep on rockin'.

Good Rockin Music

To give a nod in which direction this thing is going, i would say "Georgia Satellites meets Brooks & Dunn". Great "Chuck Berry-Type" Rockers like "Carol ann" mixed with great midtempo rocksongs as "unshaken faith" who brings memories of John Cougar at "Hurt so good" times back to this reviewer. No unecessary guitar noodling here, just songs to the point.
Sad is only i can“t see the band live over here in Germany.

Fresh, honest rock & roll
author: Ted
"Three chords of religion and a story to tell" sings Eddie Seville in "Unshaken faith". No loose promises here: 60 Cycle Hum offers a hatfull of good songs and fresh, honest rock & roll or rootsrock or whatever you wanna call it. Some great guitarsolo's too, especially in "Ghost train", one of the best songs on the album. The music reminds me of The Georgia Satellites and The Black Crowes in better days. This cd has hardly been out of my player since I got it. Buy of the month.
