Steev started songwriting and recording in 2001. His songs have an "in the room" feel that really make every track sound like a well recorded live performance. He sings all of the harmony vocal parts and the majority of the instruments including: guitar, harmonica, ukulele, accordian, clarinet and some keys. All of the tracks on this CD were recorded at home in the "studio" that he has put together over the years. Countless hours have gone into learning the art of recording and mixing and he continues to perfect these skills. Any extra income over these past years has gone towards better microphones, guitars, and other equipment and it shows in the recordings on this CD.
"Until this past year I felt that my recordings really lacked the detail and warmth I wanted them to have. I went through and retracked my favorite tunes to release this CD. Friends and family helped me to reduce the track count down to 14, so I hope you enjoy the songs."
