Stefan Oberthaler and Killervirus-Audio present the first release in the label's Remix Virus series. The series strives for an exploration into various new and experimental offshoots of nu-jazz and broken beat established within the European jazz tradition. This release features tracks taken from Stefan's recent Journey_Man album remixed by a diverse trio of producers: Black Alley, Pete Fletcher, and Keyminator (an alias of Stefan Oberthaler). These versions showcase adventurous, unique, and infectious expressions of nu-jazz through deep house, IDM, and broken beat styles. This EP is a refreshingly eclectic, surprising, and sometimes challenging release that's worthy of your attention.
