ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Welcome to my second album! This is an improvement over my first album, which felt more like a succession of ideas rather than a series of succinct songs (with the exception of maybe one track). As a follow-up to an inconsistent début, this album is more varied and versatile in terms of melody and structure, verging on it being the World's first electronic instrumental progressive rock album. The album was originally called "Horizon" but it was deemed too bland, so after several renames, I eventually settled on "Silver Horizon", being that my first album is also affectionately known as the "Golden Predator" album due to the artwork, so I decided to follow the metallic theme and name it after the next most commonly-known precious metal. Stay tuned for my third album, coming soon.

All tracks recorded at home on a Korg PA50 SD synthesiser and converted to audio with LMMS (Linux Multi-Media Studio).

Soundfonts used:

Tracks 1, 2 and 3- Gravis Ultra-Sound (GUS)
Tracks 4, 5 and 6 - Yamaha OPL 3
Tracks 7 and 8 - GXSCC 8-bit chiptune conversion
