Possibly the most intense and passionate song in Caffèluce repertoire: this heatfelt ballad is delivered in the form of a delicate milonga. It is the italian taste for melody cast as a diamond on a small musical ring.

Album Notes

What does Caffèluce sounds like? Is it the scent of fragrant coffee when you used to wake up in your grandmother's house? Or the gipsy, joyous cacophony of the marching band during the celebration of patron saint in a small piazza. Is it the memory of a lost long gone love brought by the rolling of the waves? Or maybe the remiscence of a promise sealed by two kids by the end of the summer.

Caffèluce was born as a small acoustic street band and soon turned into an exquisite acoustic quartet; so the members are just a few to be listed, the four of us that made this beautiful sounds exist: Fabio Lacertosa ( trumpet ), Massimiliano Amatruda ( accordeon ), Luigi Corridoni ( cello ) and myself, Stefano Scippa on soprano.
