Album Notes
Stef Burns has released his 2008 solo album, World, Universe, Infinity, which features, in addition to a number of instrumental tracks that he in generally known for, his first lead vocal opportunities. Burns remarks about the half-instrumental, half-vocal project, " The track "Burns' Blues" is inspired by one of my favorites, Jeff Beck. It's blues with a twist. "Mepukori" is based on another song entitled "Spasimo" written by Mario Riso from the "Rezophonic" album in Italy. Lyle Workman and I rearranged, rewrote, and added a new middle section that is gorgeous. Then we got to trade guitar solos. It features Abe Laboriel Jr, and Jimmy Johnson. "On My Way Home" is a very feel good track with lots of atmosphere. "Isle Mystique" has a cool feel. "Shine" I cowrote with Fabio Valdemarin and might be the most emotional track on the album. He is such an incredible piano player. "Space Time" is a funky jazz/pop song with horns and killer solos, while "Little Wing" is a beautiful Hendrix song that I have always loved and we recorded live. The CD features Huey Lewis, Sean Hopper, Bill Champlin, Juan van Emmerloot, Walter Latupeirissa. Peppino D'Agostino, Jeff Campitelli, Marc Russo, John Seppala, John R Burr and Jeff Babko.

Great music!!
"World, Universe, Infinity" is one of the best new CDs I've heard in quite awhile, beautifully composed and performed, and fascinating in its theme. The first track, "Begin," sums up the entire album better than any review I could write. Spontaneity, imagination, emotion, wisdom, soul--- all are evident throughout. Kudos to Stef Burns and to all of the other artists he's included on this work of art!

I used to date stef when we were in our 20's I always knew he would be amazing. He had the drive to be an incredible guitar player. I was pleasantly surprised about his singing and songwriting!! I wish I could say hi to him

great playing, great voice!
Originally I know this great Guitarist from Y&T, where he doesn't have much place to shine. So I was surprised - in a positive way - of his album "swamp tea", where he plays very tasteful melodies. His playing is for the music, not just for the show (i just say "G3"...!) and his compositions have much more feeling than the average "guitar-hero". For my taste it sometimes sounds too much American, but well, he's American... but nevertheless he is one of the greatest players in this style (his "bayshore road" is also something special!) and he belongs to that kind of guitarplayers that really can sing!

World, Universe, Infinity
This is a truly great album, a showcase for Stef\'s rockin\' and soulful guitar playing. The guy can play anything and make it sound amazing! Plus he can sing. A great album all around.

I've known stef for years, when he played with Omega Rythym Section (nows that going back in the Past) and now to hear stef sing- what a treat. I like his positive ceativity and simplicity on this new album. KEEP ON ROCKIN'STEF!

Great CD
For the first time, I saw Stef Burns on video (concert of Vasco Rossi) and since then I liked the way he plays very much.
It's not the typical CD you listen twice and then place between the other CDs.
The styles are so different that you can listening to this CD again and again.
Thanks Stef for beeing what you are!
