Solus [Latin]: alone or unaccompanied
I have selected some of my favorite repertoire from the great American songbook. My arrangements have evolved over the past 20 years of professional work as a pianist. When I play them, in my head are the many vocalists I have accompanied, who sing these songs so beautifully, and the great recordings by classic American song stylists. In essence, I am never really solus.
