Album Notes

"A long time coming." I use that phrase a lot. Number one, it happens to be true. This CD has taken 6 - count them, 6 - years from start to finish. Why so long? Because launching your own business - regardless of what area it will be in - is expensive. ESPECIALLY if you're paying for it all yourself. No business loans. No federal grants. No "rich Aunt Betties". No "sugar daddies" lining up to write me blank checks. I paid for this all myself. And I take enormous pride in that fact.

I'm not unlike any other adult out there. Bills come first. The landlord doesn't care I have a CD coming out. She wants to be paid on the first of every month. The electric company doesn't care I have a website to pay for. Either pay them or live via candlelight. The gas station doesn't care that I have studio time to pay for. Pay to fill up my tank or they're calling the cops. The list - and bills - go on and on.

And much like the hits, the ups and downs keep coming. This CD has been a lesson in patience. In fits of starting and stopping and starting and stopping just to start again. In believing I'm meant for something greater than what's in my back yard. In being so passionate about music and what I have to share with the world that I've become of one mind in my goal and purpose.

Now that Introducing... ME is finally ready to launch, I have to turn it over to you. I've poured all the blood, sweat and tears I have to make sure this is the best damned CD I could possibly make. I turn to you now to make Introducing... ME a success. There is no possible way I can do it without you. You all are my eyes and ears. My street team. My cheerleaders.
