Album Notes

“A meeting between Thom Yorke and David Lynch”

- CityPaper.net

Stephen P. Anderson was the founding member of Philadelphia alternative rock band Zonic Shockum. Assembled here are re-mastered 4-track cassette and 8-track digital home recordings from over the past 20 years. Some of these were recorded as demos for songs that Zonic Shockum would later record -- others are demos for Stephen's on-again/off-again side project, Bladder Control. The rest are minimalist sketches, or demos for later solo releases. The songs run in chronological order from 1988's "Slut Song" to 2008's "Aihoombah." The track "Opposites Attack" was featured in the 2004 Kate McCabe film 'Milk & Honey.'
