Album Notes

One of the primary aims of this recording is to demonstrate to the listener the sublime beauty and genius of using the chants prescribed in the Graduale Romanum for an ordinary Mass on an ordinary Sunday.

At the conclusion of the Mass, this recording includes some of the communion chants which are intended for use at any time of the year.

It is our hope that parish music directors might be inspired to sing the communion chant - even if it is coupled with other music, and even if it is not the “proper” chant of the day - at every single Sunday Mass.
