The Day We Lost Control
We fear everything. The media pumps our lungs with it. It makes us easy to control. Every night we are presented with a new list of things to fear. So we consume, work, breathe, sleep, love, worship, vote, and dream in its shadow.
Sometimes losing control is good, but only if we fill it with something other than fear. I feel like the lines between being awake and being asleep grow increasingly thin. There is so much beauty in the world that we ignore because of the disease of fear.
