Album Notes

stereosleep is a Washington, DC band with aspirations of sharing its music with the world. The band formed when singer-song writer Donny Ray reached out for bandmates on Craigslist Musicians page. He posted a copy of the song "To Tell the Truth", which got the attention of bassist Bruce Fulton. Bruce and Donny Ray began a enduring friendship and an amazing musical collaboration that can only be described as enchanted. Other members soon joined the band, including outrageous guitarist AJ Jeanty who is the Jonny Greenwood of stereosleep adding just the perfect guitar part to every song. The band began building notice in DC by playing at Rock and Roll Hotel and Black Cat. The band began working on the "Dreams and Riots" EP in 2011. The EP has received enormous attention in DC and New York and has already received radio play as an unsigned band. stereosleep is preparing to tour the US an hopes to keep bulding their fan base with songs like, "All the Pretty Things", "Sail", and "Fight Fire" a song inspired by and written for the Occupy Wallstree protests across the country. stereosleep music is built on emotion, deep thought, and an empathy for the human condition and will surely pass the test of time.
